| criarte is a cultural design brand, started by Sancha Trindade, creating messages by citing Portuguese authors. These are produced in Portugal in limited editions. Its main mission is to spread Portugal and the Portuguese language throughout the World.
Having already published the words of Luís de Camões, Damião de Góis, Padre António Vieira, Agostinho da Silva, Ruy Belo, Al Berto, Alberto Caeiro, José Tolentino Mendonça and Álvaro de Campos in its collection – the voyagers.
criarte endeavours to return to lovers of Portugal and the World, the love that we have brought with us and the best that we are, like birds of passage waiting for a distant city's call of freedom.
Since 2009, Criarte has become an Arquivo brand, united to share the fascination for poetry and the future of Portuguese soul.
criarte was purchased by Arquivo, who undertook to develop this project by introducing new editions, yet respecting the underlying Criarte Soul.
Arquivo uses the Criarte project to bring this spirit to a wider audience, by incorporating the brand in its distribution circuit. Up till now an importer and distributor of highly reputated brands produced abroad, namely Moleskine notebooks and diaries, Arquivo is thus transformed into a producer and editor. |
